PVC schedule 80/40 Pipe, typically used for chemical transfer, NSF certified, conforming to CSA B137.3 waste water treatment, high concentrated chemical applications. PVC schedule 80 piping is manufactured with Type 1, Grade 1 PVC (Cell Classification 12454-B) conforming to ASTM 1784. Maximum service temperature for PVC is 140°F. PVC schedule 80 pipe has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength (at 73°F) of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping.
