Meet Rayelle Calihan, Inside Sales Representative – Fabco Plastics Surrey

Rayelle is a valued member of the Fabco Plastics Surrey team, supporting customers, solving problems, and helping keep things running smoothly. Known for her positive attitude, adaptability, and team-first approach, she brings energy and personality to even the busiest days.

We sat down with Rayelle to learn more about her role, what motivates her, and why the Fabco team makes work so enjoyable.

Q. Can you tell us a little about your role at Fabco Plastics?

A. My role involves a little bit of everything! I help with creating and processing orders, customer service, administrative tasks, and accounts. A big part of my day is making sure customers are taken care of and that everything behind the scenes stays organized and moving smoothly.

Q. What do you enjoy most about working at Fabco?

A. Definitely the people. I love my team! We work hard, support each other, and still manage to have a lot of fun throughout the day. Having great coworkers makes even the busiest days more enjoyable.

Q. What skills do you think are most important in your role?

A. Multitasking, patience, communication, product knowledge, adaptability, and teamwork are all really important. Every day can bring something different, so being able to switch gears, solve problems, and communicate clearly with both customers and coworkers’ makes a big difference.

Q. What’s something people might not realize about working in accounts or administration?

A. It’s not just answering phones and entering orders! You’re constantly juggling customers, suppliers, inventory, shipping, pricing, and a million little fires at once. You need to know your products, think on your feet, and solve problems quickly – all while making the experience feel easy and seamless for the customer.

Q. What’s one thing that helps you stay productive during busy days?

A. Having clear goals and staying focused on what needs to get done really helps me during busy days. I’m motivated by solving problems, supporting my customers, and knowing that what I do makes a difference to the team. There’s also something really satisfying about taking something from start to finish, especially when you’re surrounded by a team that supports each other along the way.

Q. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A. Outside of work, I love being outdoors and exploring. I’m always up for finding a remote waterfall with crystal-clear water to jump into, taking a yoga class, going for a long walk, or ending the day watching the sunset by the ocean. I’m happiest somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature, with a little adventure mixed in.

Q. In one word, how would you describe the Fabco Plastics team? Why?

A. Unmatched! I’m pretty sure everyone says they have the best team, but they don’t have my team! 😂 From inside jokes and ridiculous accents to funny emails and the laughs we have throughout the day, we genuinely have a great group of people.
We also have an incredible leader with more than 40 years of experience and getting to learn from him has honestly been one of my favourite parts of working at Fabco. We work hard, support each other, and somehow manage to have a lot of fun along the way. That’s what makes our team so special.
