Meet the People Behind Fabco Plastics

Meet Barbara Morton, Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Barbara, is an important part of the Fabco Plastics team, helping keep operations organized, customers supported, and day-to-day processes running efficiently. Known for their attention to detail, positive attitude, and team-first mindset, Barbara brings both professionalism and personality to the workplace every day.

We sat down with her to learn more about their role, work style, and what they enjoy most about being part of the Fabco team.

Q. Can you tell us a little about your role at Fabco Plastics?

A. I support the accounts team by helping manage daily financial processes, staying organized, and working closely with both customers and internal teams. A big part of the role is making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes while maintaining strong communication and attention to detail.

Q. What do you enjoy most about working at Fabco?

A. The people. Everyone is supportive, approachable, and willing to help each other out. There’s a strong team atmosphere, and it makes even busy days enjoyable.

I also like that no two days are the same — there’s always something new to learn or solve.

Q. What skills do you think are most important in your role?

A. Organization, communication, and patience are huge. Being detail-oriented helps but being able to work well with different people and stay positive under pressure is just as important.

A good sense of humor helps too.

Q. What’s something people might not realize about working in accounts or administration?

A. There’s a lot more collaboration involved than people think. We work closely with many departments, customers, and vendors every day, so communication and teamwork are a big part of the job.

Q. What’s one thing that helps you stay productive during busy days?

A. Staying organized and prioritizing tasks. A good to-do list goes a long way. And coffee. Definitely, coffee. 😊

Q. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Drawing, going for walks by the waterfront and park/play dates with my grandchildren is my best relaxation.

Q. In one word, how would you describe the Fabco Plastics team? Why?

A. AMAZING. We support each other and help to keep each other positive, and we make working together fun and productive. I couldn’t ask for better group of individuals than the group we have here.
